Jyoti Punja Theatre Group, which was established
some 13 years ago has recently switched into movie production
and is named as the “Movie Nepal Production.” This
production house is a unity of formal educationist in film and
theatre art. Movie Nepal Production has been producing many
radio programs, T.V. programs, T.V. Serials, T.V. ads, docudramas,
documentaries, plays etc. for creating awareness in the society
from the very beginning of its establishment. Aakanskshya,
is a tele serial about a psychiatric patient, Rupranga,
a T.V. program about the lifestyle of disabled and handicapped
people. Kya Gajab, a T.V. serial about the
social stigma and unemployment. Window of Nepal, a cultural
video magazine etc. are is recent production for T.V. media.
Similarly, Movie Nepal Production has been working in theatre
and street plays too. It has been staging different types
of informative and awareness raising plays, including “Manchhe
Manchheharuma”, the best drama in National
Drama Competition in 2058 BS. Some of dramas shown by Movie
