| Jyotipunja Sign Theatre is
the only theatre group in the country that uses sign language
in its theatre works. It has been doing different theatre activities
in and outside the valley and can be contacted for the following
services: |
- Jyotipunj Sign Theatre provides information on sign theatre
and language
- It also provides training in sign language and sign theatre
- It provides theatre teachers for interested schools and
colleges
- It has been presenting quality theatre works in different
occasions in and
outside the valley
- It provides a wealth of information for the people wanting
to do research in modern Nepali theatre
- It has been working together with different theatre groups
and helping them in all possible means.
- It has been publishing e-magazine ‘Theatre Nepal’
and interested theatre groups can send in their
information to have their presence in the net.
- It has been celebrating the World Theatre Day every year
jointly with different theatre groups.
- It has been providing research materials and contact
numbers of the theatre-related people and places
- It has been participating in all major national theatre
events with quality theatre works
